چکیده
ABSTRACT: The genotype × environment (G×E) interaction plays an essential role in phenotypic expression and can lead to difficulties genetic selection. Thus, the present study aimed estimate parameters compare different selection strategies context of mixed models for soybean breeding. For this, data referring evaluation 30 genotypes 10 environments, regarding grain yield trait, were used. variance components estimated through restricted maximum likelihood (REML) genotypic values predicted best linear unbiased prediction (BLUP). Significant effects G×E detected by ratio test (LRT). Low correlation was obtained across indicating complex interaction. selective accuracy very high, high reliability. Our results showed that most productive have adaptability stability.

The aim of this study was to verify the adaptability and stability of soybean cultivars with regards to yield and oil content. Data of soybean yield and oil content were used from experiments set up in six environments in the 2011/12 and 2012/13 crop seasons in the municipalities of Patos de Minas, Uberaba, Lavras, and São Gotardo, Minas Gerais, Brazil, testing 36 commercial soybean cultivars o...
متن کاملSelection for wide adaptability and high phenotypic stability of Brazilian soybean genotypes.
Advances in genetic enhancement techniques have led to an increase in soybean production. Thus, soybean is currently one the most economically important cultured species worldwide. The objectives of the present study were to study the interaction of soybean genotypes per environment in terms of grain productivity and to evaluate their phenotypic adaptability and stability, with the final aim of...
متن کاملMixed models for selection of Jatropha progenies with high adaptability and yield stability in Brazilian regions.
The aim of this study was to estimate genetic parameters via mixed models and simultaneously to select Jatropha progenies grown in three regions of Brazil that meet high adaptability and stability. From a previous phenotypic selection, three progeny tests were installed in 2008 in the municipalities of Planaltina-DF (Midwest), Nova Porteirinha-MG (Southeast), and Pelotas-RS (South). We evaluate...

This study used Bayesian inference to investigate the genotype x environment interaction in common bean grown in Mato Grosso do Sul State, and it also evaluated the efficiency of using informative and minimally informative a priori distributions. Six trials were conducted in randomized blocks, and the grain yield of 13 common bean genotypes was assessed. To represent the minimally informative a...
